- Wednesday evenings, April 7 -28, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. New Member Reception on May 23
Becoming A Member at Centerpoint...
Membership in a congregation is a commitment to be part of a family of believers where worship, fellowship, learning and serving the Lord take place. It is a public commitment that acknowledges that Jesus is our Lord and Savior and should be made with careful thought and prayer.
We believe that the church is a group of believers who encourage and support each other in the challenge of being a fully devoted follower of Christ. Plain and simple: Christians need each other!
If you believe it is God's will for you to join the family of Centerpoint, or if you would simply like to learn more about the church to help you make that decision, we encourage you to register for the next Connections Class!
The How
Connections (New Members Class)
An informational seminar. Learn about the History, Mission, Structure, Beliefs and Strategy of Centerpoint. Meet the pastoral and program staff, learn about the various ministries of Centerpoint. Meet the pastoral and program staff, learn about the various ministries at Centerpoint and discover what it means to be a positional and a participating member of the Church.
This seminar is intended to orient both long time attenders/members and those who are new to Centerpoint to our vision and values. The class is a requirement for membership but you are not obligated to join after you attend.
The When
The Next Connections Classes will be:
- Sunday mornings, January 17 through February 14 at 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 Noon. New Members Reception on March 14
- Wednesday evenings, April 7 -28 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. New Member Reception on May 23
If you enroll in one session and miss a week, you can catch the week you missed later in the year.
Pre-registration is encouraged.
Elements of Membership
- Attend worship regularly
-Register online for the Connections Class
-Join a Small Group
-Meet with a Caring Elder to give witness to your faith in Jesus Christ.
-You will be received publicly into the membership of the church.
