About Us

Welcome to Centerpoint

We are glad you are here.

FOR OUR CITY, FOR THE WORLD.

For over 130 years, Centerpoint Church has been working diligently to be the best church FOR the city. While the Sunday morning experience is fantastic, we do not see it as our primary purpose. Rather, we concentrate on ways to be the hands and feet of Christ in our city and in the world.

There are more than a dozen churches that we have started in the greater Kalamazoo area. We are passionate about partnering with local non-profits, community leaders, and other churches to transform our city the way that God has designed it to be. Because it is not about making the name of Centerpoint Church great. It is about making the name of Jesus great and being “salt and light” to renew the city, and the world, for God’s glory.

Here, you will find people who love God, love each other, and love making a difference in the lives of people around us. You will find dynamic, bible-driven teaching; passionate, reverential music; exciting, engaging ministries for people of all ages; and most importantly, you will find a home.
